Our Customer's Request:

Build an attractive unique vending machine that vends a product in a clamshell package, reads it's barcode, reliably accepts only good reads, rejects bad reads, is very secure, and is feature rich with electronics.

This machine features the following:

  • Machine dispenses 4 columns of product packed in clamshells.
  • The barcode on the clamshell is read, filtered, and accepted / rejected.  Rejected product is placed in a reject bin.
  • Upon receipt of customer input (keyboard or driver's license) and credit information, it dispenses one product.
  • The machine communicates through a full industrial strength pc to a host computer. (customer supplied software)
  • The machine is designed with a very secure locking system.

This machine utilizes the following hardware: 

  • Heavy-duty welded steel cabinet with very durable powder coating.
  • High security 7-point locking system with high security lock.
  • A full color 17 inch touch screen monitor.
  • Keyboard with trackball.
  • Dual capability card reader, credit cards and drivers licenses.
  • A 4-column card dispenser that has a 25 inch stack capacity for each column.
  • Barcode readers at each column for a very reliable read.
  • A locked product storage cabinet below the product drop area.
  • High quality receipt printer.
  • Product drop tray with theft prevention.

VIDEO PULL TAB VENDING MACHINE

 

Our Customer's Request:

 

Using an existing design from another company, add a redemption feature, a means of identifying redeemed cards, and a complete new software package.  The project included 2 prototypes and 50 machines.  The machine requirements were mostly required by state statutes.

This machine features the following:

 

  • The machine dispenses 6 columns of pull tabs each with a barcode identifying the winning / losing status of the card.
  • The machine randomly chooses a column, dispenses one card from that column, opens a tab to reveal the barcode, displays the contents of the pull tab, plays a song for winners, drops winners into a seperate tray, then the customer can redeem the winners for credit by placing the card in the redemption slot. 
  • The machine was designed to utilize a full pc mother board with hard drive, color monitor, and usb software changes.
  • The machine can be easily loaded through the secure front door.
  • The machine has a seperate locking door for the cash. 
  • Linux software was used for it's stability and cost.
  • The machine has a locked storage area under the product tray.
This machine utilizes the following hardware:

CUSTOM PULL TAB VENDING MACHINE

Our Customer's Request:

Build an attractive stylish vending machine for 8 columns of pull tabs that utilizes the dispensing mechanisms from old 4 column vending machines.  It must be secure and meet government requirements.

This machine features the following:

  • Machine dispenses 8 coumns of pull tab tickets.
  • The machine was designed to utilize old components such as 2 mechanisms, 1 bill acceptor, 1 coin mechanism, and old control circuitry.
  • The machine loads easily from the front.
  • The machine has a seperate locking door with a screw lock for the cash.  The cash is housed in a "vault" for security purposes.
  • The machine is built using an external fiberglass cabinet with a stylish shape that would be prohibitively expensive in a welded steel cabinet.

This machine utilizes the following hardware: 

  • Attractive stylish fiberglass cabinet with screw-lock security.
  • High security lock.
  • A full view of all 8 columns of product with 8 LED back-lighted buttons with price legends.
  • A large back-lighted topper sign.

COUPON VENDING MACHINE

Our Customer's Request:

Build a coupon vending machine that prints a sweepstakes number on a preprinted coupon that can only be redeemed in that store.

This machine features the following:

  • Machine dispenses 4 columns of 3 x 5 pre-printed cards.
  • The card is printed and displayed under curved glass.
  • Upon receipt of cash, the customer selects the coupon by pressing the adjacent column button causing the product to drop to the tray.
  • The machine communicates with a host computer to randomly determine the sweepstakes number.
  • The machine is designed with a complete management system through the host computer.

This machine utilizes the following hardware:

  • Welded steel cabinet with powder coat finish and screw-lock security.
  • A curved back-lighted top sign.
  • Lighted LED push-buttons with inserted pricing legends.
  • A lighted display area for the live cards prior to dispensing.
  • A 4-column card dispenser that can vend 12 mil 3 X 5 cards.
  • A Coinco bill acceptor.
  • A walking card printer that traverses to the column selected.
  • A locked product storage cabinet below the product drop area.
