Build a coupon vending machine that prints a sweepstakes number on a pre-printed coupon that can only be redeemed in that store.  This dispenser is the main component in this machine.

This dispenser features the following functions:

• 4 stacks of 3 x 5 pre-printed cards 12 mil thick.
• Prints each card as it exits the stack with a traversing printer.
• Displays the card under a glass cover.
• Releases the card upon command to the product tray.
• An electronic control board provides all dispenser functional timing and control.

This dispenser utilizes the following hardware: 

• One 110VAC customized motor for all 4 columns.
• One dot matrix printer for all 4 columns.
• Technik’s standard card dispensing components.
• Technik’s custom steel components unique for this project.
• Electrogalvanized steel components that completely prevent rust corrosion.
• Technik standard control board with special software for this application.

OUR CUSTOMER’S REQUEST:

Build a mechanism to dispense CR80 cards with a mag stripe.  The unit must read the data on the card, communicate that data to the customer's computer, be capable of re-stacking and re-reading, then dispense or reject the card.

• Passes a read head, stops and waits for instructions.

Build a video pull tab vending machine that dispenses 6 columns of cards, opens a tab concealing a bar code, reads the tab, permanently emboss the card to indicate that it was vended, further disfigure winning cards for redemption integrity, then dispenses winners out of one slot and losers out of another.  This mechanism was designed to meet these requirements.

This dispenser features the following functions:

• 6 columns of pull tabs with a bar code sealing end tab.
• Rolls an emboss pattern on each card dispensed.
• Opens and folds back the end tab on the pull tab concealing the bar code information.
• Reads the bar code by traversing the reader head to the proper column.
• Dispensed losers are conveyed to tray #1.
• Disfigures winners to prevent player fraud.
• Activates a sort gate for winners which directs them to tray #2.
• Control board provides all dispenser functional timing and control.
• Control board communicates and receives commands from the machine's computer.

• The dispenser can be adjusted to accept a wide variety of card lengths, widths, and thicknesses.

• Cards are dispensed from any of the four columns on demand.
